The International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM) was founded in 1982 for the purpose of facilitating communication and exchange between choral musicians throughout the world. Through its world and regional symposia, conducting master classes, World Youth Choir, Choral Music Database (Musica), ChoralNet website, World Choral Census, International Choral Bulletin, World Day of Choral Singing and many other projects, IFCM is fulfilling its purpose. IFCM is the official representative of choral music on the International Music Council of the UNESCO. The headquarters of the IFCM is located in Namur, Belgium.

Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI), the largest youth music NGO in the world, was created in Brussels, Belgium in 1945 with the mission to "enable young people to develop through music across all boundaries". With a vast array of activities embracing all styles of music, JMI has established four priority activity fields: Young Musicians, Young Audiences, Youth Empowerment and Youth Orchestras & Ensembles. With member organizations in 45 countries, JMI is a global network that reaches over 5 million young people and facilitates cross-border exchange opportunities on the international level. For over 60 years, JMI has been 'Making a Difference through Music', using the power of music to bridge across social, geographical, racial and economic divides and creating a platform for intercultural dialogue.

Founded in 1963, Europa Cantat (EC) is a pan-European non-profit organisation dedicated to education and cultural exchange among young people in the field of vocal music, and reaches out to more than 20 million singers, conductors and composers all over Europe. EC encourages greater understanding and cooperation between Europeans by bringing them together in the common activity of singing, promoting the exchange and development of cultural heritage and education. EC offers activities for choirs, young singers and conductors from Europe and overseas on all levels: EUROPA CANTAT Festivals, Singing Weeks, EUROPA CANTAT junior, academies, competitions, study tours and seminars. The General Secretariat of EC is located in Bonn, Germany.
