CONCERT TOUR 2024

The World Youth Choir 2024 concert tour will have the choir joining the National Youth Orchestra of Germany – Bundesjugendorchester (BJO) - for a programme with Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 and a commission work by Tan Dun entitled Nine - Ode to Compassion. The choir will also present some concerts with an acapella repertoire.
Performing a total of eleven concerts in three different countries, the ensemble will be conducted by Tan Dun or Jörn Hinnerk Andresen and will feature four World Youth Choir alumni as soloists: Iris Hendrickx, Jo-Pei Weng, Xavier Moreno and Johannes Schendel.
